About Us

Founded with a passion for community heritage, we maintain the historic Wolcott House and its surrounding complex, offering a glimpse into the past through engaging exhibits, educational programs, and special events. Our mission is to connect people with the stories and traditions that shaped our region, fostering a deeper appreciation for our shared history.

Our Purpose

Discover, procure, preserve and display whatever may relate to the general history of the Maumee River Valley

  • Promote interest in history among all members and the public with special events, lectures, and programming

  • Maintain a library of historical literature

  • Encourage the presentation of books, papers and lectures on subjects of historical and literacy interests

  • Collect objects of historical interest and arrange for their preservation and exhibition
